M101 is a fantastic target for almost all telescopes. I have shot it with every telescope I own but this is my favorite rendition. I wanted to show details all the way through to the core, present the faintest arms, and keep a natural balance with the colors. I wanted the Ha signal to feel like part of the galaxy and not to push it too far to overtake overall balance I tried to achieve.
