There are nights you go searching for adventure & find more than what you anticipated. As an Aurora photographer I drove out of weather for a predicted G2 event into the White Mountains of NH. I expected some aurora. I did not expect a SAR Arc and multi color Airglow so distorted by gravity waves it looked like a comb had been raked through. Nor expect the SAR to dance with the Milky Way as the two curves intersected and crossed over time. Late to the party. Never would I imagine to capture all in the same sky.
