Captured in Tenerife Island, the image shows the light pollution of a city at the left while the Milky Way glows on the other side. Despite rather similar condition with neighboring island La Palma, the sky of Tenerife, even at high altitudes like here, is not as good as La Palma. Bigger cities in Tenerife and better artificial light management rules in La Palma are among the reasons for this matter.
